A progressive alphabetic search of keywords based upon store-specific data, such as product name, category or manufacturer, utilizes our patent-pending stratification software to instantly display the full item description and other important information to help the shopper with their purchase.

And the search criteria doesn't have to be exact... by just entering even the first few letters of an item name or description - whether it's spelled correctly or not - iPAL's intelligent WordSearch algorithm will determine and display those that best match the input data with quickness and accuracy. Even searches that may have different names based upon a user’s background or region of the country ("joint compound" versus "mud", for example) produce the exact product information needed.

The foundation to the successful application of the iPAL, however, lies in its ability to keep track of the constant moves and changes made to merchandise inventories in real-time.  

With its integrated SKUScan and ShelfScan modules, iPAL allows any employee or service agent, if authorized, to change the current product location immediately so everyone knows where everything is all the time.

TreoSystems provides powerful administrative tools designed with a simple web-based interface to easily maintain the iPAL system and prepare reports for management control. All functions are straightforward table editing with the capability to review multiple records, lookup specific information, create reports, and add new, edit, and delete records.

Administration

iPAL administration can be done either centrally or at the store level to customize product information or massage individual store location data. The screens allow for fast and easy management of product descriptions, location data, user profiles, aliases, related items and key words.

iPAL can also be customized to the way inventory is tracked according to current store standards, and retailers can include different types of locations used in any specific store.

A key strength of the iPAL system lies in its ability to track the placement of products anywhere throughout a store. Management can now have the ability to know not only where inventory was moved to, but also when it was done and who moved it.

 

Management Reporting

Imagine the merchandising possibilities of being able to compare product sales velocity to its actual placement on a store-by-store basis. Is an item moving well because it’s where it’s supposed to be… or because it isn’t?
